So who are the bloggers who share their items? Well, I'm one of them. My name is Jo and I am a School Library Media Specialist who has been in education for 15 years.
I've taught preschool through fifth grade in various capacities and I am using my experiences to help create some great lessons to share for you on both my website, A Teacher's Bag of Tricks, as well as my SLMS blog, The Book Bug.
In addition to being a School Library Media Specialist, I am also a wife and a mother to two wonderful little boys, ages 10 and 3. They are my joy.
In my freetime, which is usually in the wee hours of the morning, I enjoy reading, journaling, scrapbooking, sewing and surfing the net for new ideas. I have about 300 blogs in my Google Reader that I scroll through on a regular basis and post thing I find interesiting to the Facebook fan pages of my website and blog. It is such a amazing feeling to be able to reach students I've never even met through sharing resources I have come across as well as created through Classroom Freebies. I hope that you have enjoyed the items I have posted. I certainly plan on sharing many more.
One of my favorite items posted by another CF's contributor was this 8 Reading Strategy Posters freebie from Rachel Lynette. Rachel always creates fantastic resources and I love the way her items have a consistent design. Check out Rachel's posters and don't forget to leave a comment to let her know what you think of her freebie. She would LOVE to hear from you!
Thanks for using Classroom Freebies for your teaching needs.
