As noted in the video, the code for the script tag to place in your blog came from Blogger Sentral - so a big shout out to them!

Awesome!
DeleteCharity, thank you so much! I would really like to do this for my blog, but would like to remove the pin-it buttons currently on my pictures. I've been searching through tutorials and spent over an hour trying to find it somewhere in the HTML (oh, my aching eyes!). Do you have any advice for me or can you direct me somewhere that has a clear tutorial on how to get all of those pin-it buttons off of my pics? I've been meaning to do that anyway because I do not like how it looks. I would appreciate any help! Thank You!

Yay!
DeleteTHANK YOU, Charity!! Your directions were so clear and helpful!!! I have just one little question that I'm hoping you can help me with! I didn't have a Pinterest button previously so all that shows up when you scroll over a photo is a [?] thing--at least that's what it looks like from my end! I coded in an icon (or so I thought) but maybe I'm missing a step.
ReplyDeleteAny help would be much appreciated. :)
Thanks, Charity!!

Hi Erin! I didn't change the icon at all for the code provided. In the directions from Blogger Sentral they do list how to do that (though I did not), and it sounds like maybe you are missing the right image source URL in the HTML? Without being there, I can't check it out though. Hopefully you will be able to see what needs to be fixed.
DeleteI don't have a pinterest button at all on my blog at all and it showed up just fine....after I went back to figure out why it didn't show up at all the first time. I was ready to delete and start over when I noticed that I had put a space between bottom and right. As I was double checking why it might not be working I noticed that there was no space. Went back, took the space out, and now it works.
DeleteOh my goodness! This is so sweet! Thank you!! Going to Tweet and share...love it!
ReplyDeleteThanks! Glad it was helpful Carly. :)
DeleteWow. This worked and was so easy to do thanks to your advice.
ReplyDeleteNo problem! Thanks for stopping by!
DeleteIf anyone had ever told me that I would be THIS excited over HTML code... I probably wouldn't have believed them! :) Thanks for a great tutorial... this just made my Saturday night!
