Need a Pinterest Hover Button for Your Blog?

Well, I was going to save this post for this weekend, but being that I have gotten a bunch of emails from people just noticing the change on this blog alone, I thought maybe I would share how you too can EASILY add the Pinterest Logo to all your blog pictures too!  I added to all of my Blogger blogs (almost 20 in total) and they all loaded in a snap!

Hover over this picture and click on the logo that pops up to see how it works!

The freebie video that shows how to do it in action:

As noted in the video, the code for the script tag to place in your blog came from Blogger Sentral - so a big shout out to them!

Have a wonderful time updating your blog with the newest fun factor and feel free to pin as many images as you like from Classroom Freebies and Classroom Freebies Too to share with your friends.  :)

  6. Charity, thank you so much! I would really like to do this for my blog, but would like to remove the pin-it buttons currently on my pictures. I've been searching through tutorials and spent over an hour trying to find it somewhere in the HTML (oh, my aching eyes!). Do you have any advice for me or can you direct me somewhere that has a clear tutorial on how to get all of those pin-it buttons off of my pics? I've been meaning to do that anyway because I do not like how it looks. I would appreciate any help! Thank You!

  8. THANK YOU, Charity!! Your directions were so clear and helpful!!! I have just one little question that I'm hoping you can help me with! I didn't have a Pinterest button previously so all that shows up when you scroll over a photo is a [?] thing--at least that's what it looks like from my end! I coded in an icon (or so I thought) but maybe I'm missing a step.

Any help would be much appreciated. :)

    Thanks, Charity!!

    1. Hi Erin! I didn't change the icon at all for the code provided. In the directions from Blogger Sentral they do list how to do that (though I did not), and it sounds like maybe you are missing the right image source URL in the HTML? Without being there, I can't check it out though. Hopefully you will be able to see what needs to be fixed.

    2. I don't have a pinterest button at all on my blog at all and it showed up just fine....after I went back to figure out why it didn't show up at all the first time. I was ready to delete and start over when I noticed that I had put a space between bottom and right. As I was double checking why it might not be working I noticed that there was no space. Went back, took the space out, and now it works.
