Vowel Sticks

Activities with a self checking feature are awesome for use within literacy centers.  When using the Make, Take & Teach Vowel Sticks activity students clip the short vowel sound on the stick.  To check their answer, they simply turn the stick over and if there is a dot under the clothespin, the answer is correct.

 

 

The Vowel Sticks activity can be easily differentiated.  Simply choose which and how many vowels to write on the stick.
