The key to developing critical thinking in children is to encourage them to think about problems in multiple different ways. These four sheets allow you to model for your students the different ways to attack a single word problem. Emphasize for your children that not one of these ways is singularly correct, but that each different way to think about a problem helps your brain to grow.
