Encouraging students to teach themselves is a large part of the reasoning behind teaching internet research. Students remember more of what they “teach themselves” than when we are standing at the front of the room teaching them. This US Geographical Features Internet Scavenger Hunt is a perfect compromise between the two. Students are researching and teaching themselves, but they are being guided by directed questions and suggested websites. Download this now from my Teachers Pay Teachers store.
