Teaching word families is a great way to build phonemic awareness and reading skills in kids. When word family words are paired with pictures, students can build vocabulary as well. This is especially true for ESL students. This ACK Family Word Work Packet gives you four different ways to practice the ACK family with your students. In this packet there is a set of word wall cards, a self correcting puzzle, a making words center and a file folder game. All of these can be used in guided reading, small group word work or independent centers. Download all four from my Teachers Pay Teachers store.
