Cooking is one of the ways that we use math every day. Without thinking about it, we as adults work on measurement and elapsed time every time we cook. So why shouldn't we use recipes to teach our students about math? This Holiday Recipe Project allows you to do just this. It walks students through how to plan out a meal, taking into consideration budgeting and elapsed time. Best of all, it will work for any holiday! This would work great for any spring holiday from Valentine's Day to Easter. Download today from my Teachers Pay Teachers store.
