Cooking gives us so many real life applications for Math and holidays provide us with many opportunities to cook. Our favorite recipes often have a holiday connected to it. While we often think about winter holidays when we think of special recipes, I have some great Fourth of July recipes and a special Mother's Day pancake recipe. This Holiday Recipe Math Project can be used for winter holidays or summer ones. Either way, it allows your students to work through creating a food budget and a time line for their favorite holiday recipe. Download this free Math project from my Teachers Pay Teachers store.
