My Family Tradition: Writing with Imagery
Teaching students to add details to their writing is often a struggle. I continue to return to this lesson on teaching imagery by using the five senses. This year my students impressed their parents with their writing at parent teacher conferences.
This time of year is full of holidays from many cultures. Rather than write about a non-traditional Thanksgiving custom, this year I am opening up my writing prompt to include any family traditions.
