Missing Numbers Fall Game

I just recently completed my newest Math Workshop Unit for 4th grade and was having so much fun with this unit!  It's completed centered around adding and subtracting large numbers so that students can become fluent.  I don't know about you, but I still have some students in my class who are using their fingers to add and subtract.

Today's freebie is very fall in nature.  It's addition and subtraction problems of larger numbers, but you don't have to teach fourth grade to use it!

Help your students practice addition and subtraction of missing numbers with this engaging math center game perfect for fall in any classroom!

It has missing numbers throughout the addends, sums, minuends, differences, and subtrahends.

Here's how it works:

As students complete the problems, if they get them correct, they get to build part of the scarecrow.  If they get it incorrect, uh-oh, they have to remove part of the scarecrow.  The first person to build a complete scarecrow wins!

Help your students practice addition and subtraction of missing numbers with this engaging math center game perfect for fall in any classroom!

Students are practicing their math skills, including inverse operations, and are sure to have a blast with this engaging math center!
