Susan Berkowitz’s Free Roll a Sentence - or a Whole Story

Many of our students in speech-language therapy are assisted when we use visual cues.  These visual cues do not provide an answer, but do serve as a cue to what kind of an answer is expected or needed.

I have used a story element custom die for many years to help students construct a story or answer questions about different elements of a story.  But I have also used one for assembling a sentence, or answering questions about specific words in a sentence.

Here is a copy of the latter for you to use in your own sessions.  You can find it as a part of my resource: Writing for Reluctant Writers.

Just right click and download this die to your computer.  Have fun!  And keep on talking.
