Foldables make learning so much fun! One of my favorites is this four-flap graphic organizer that can be used in any content area for taking notes. You can make this foldable out of a large sheet of white construction paper or from a free template I created to make it super easy. Any topic that can chunked into four subtopics will work; the examples on the right were created for a rain forest unit. To learn how to make this foldable and where to download the pattern, visit Corkboard Connections and read the Fantastic Foldable Freebies blog post.
By the way, that blog post is a part of a Link Up where teachers are sharing how they use foldables in their own classrooms. Lots of great ideas shared and more to come. I hope you’ll add your own strategies to the growing collection!
