Teaching Resources for The Man Who Walked Between the Towers

All Freebies

Today, on September 11th, we reflect on a day that will forever live on in our memories. As teachers, we struggle with how much of this day we should discuss with our students. One book that many teachers love sharing on this day is The Man Who Walked Between the Towers. It’s based on the true story of Philippe Petit who walked a high wire between the towers when they were still under construction. I’ve created a set of free teaching materials to use with this book, and you can download them from Corkboard Connections. If you find this blog post after September 11th, you can still read the book to your class any time of the year and use these discussion questions and other free resources. It’s a great story that will fascinate your students!
