Talk to Your Kids About Hurricane Sandy and What You Can Do to Help!

All Freebies

I was initially hesitant talking to my kids about the devastation that Hurricane Sandy caused, but being from NY, it was unavoidable.  After doing this mini lesson with them, I actually felt really good about talking to them about the hurricane because I think it made a big difference in helping them cope with what the had heard and seen.

I know it’s been almost a month since Hurricane Sandy caused its devastation, but it’s not too late to talk with your class about what happened and what they can do to help!  Click the picture below for a free presentation on Hurricane Sandy that incorporates lots of thinking maps!
