Holiday Beginning Sound Memory

Here’s a quick and easy idea for creating a memory game for use either in your literacy centers or during small group instruction.  Simply purchase gift tags in the Christmas section at Walmart and cut them in half so that the front of the card can be used as the card front.  Then print the pdf on a full sized Avery label, cut out the letters and pictures and adhere one to each card.  Wha-la!–a fun holiday for practicing beginning sounds!
