Winter Holiday Vocabulary Packet

All Freebies· PK-2

Each week, my students work on a different theme for their vocabularFree Differentiated Vocabulary Packet on Winter Holidays - Perfect for English Language Learners (ESL)y.  During the course of the week, they practice writing the words, using them in a sentence, playing a puzzle with the words and on Friday they complete a cloze word activity with the words.  Since we are getting so close to those winter holidays, this week’s theme was just that – Winter Holidays.  I have four different levels in my class, so each level took a different holiday.  Level 1 learned Christmas words, Level 2 learned Hanukkah words, Level 3 learned Kwanza words and Level 4 learned Diwali words.  It was a great way to get my kids in the holiday spirit, and at the end of the week, we shared what we learned, so everyone got an overview of the important words in each holiday.  Download the entire packet – all 4 levels – for free from my Teachers Pay Teachers store.
