I can not believe how amazing that number is. FIVE MILLION times people have come to Classroom Freebies to get an array of fabulous free teaching resources (me included!). That is simply awesome!
Hi! My name is Stephanie and I am from Teaching in Room 6. I am one of those teachers who is upper grade at heart. Teaching and interacting with the older kids (grades 3-6) is in my blood 🙂 I love being able to design lessons and activities that make them think and grow as both students and people. The content of the upper grades also drives me. I just love the social studies!
But I am not so in love with math….which is why I am always looking for new and different ways to teach it. One of the things I found came from Denise at Sunny Days in Second Grade. Her Bump game is just perfect for a math center. I love how it can easily be made more difficult for a greater challenge and is applicable to to many different grades. Here is one she posted here back in January that is for multiplication and addition (though it can EASILY be turned into a division game as well….) It is just fabulous, and free! Thanks Denise.
