Hi, Teaching Friends!
When one of your young writers comes to you to ask how to spell his sister’s name, do you find yourself thinking, “Hmmm…M-I-C-H-E-L-E? or M-I-C-H-E-L-L-E? Maybe even M-Y-S-H-E-L-E, or…”. It can get pretty confusing with multiple spellings of common names, and downright tough with uncommon names uniquely spelled, or with pets’ names.
Here’s a solution! Print these writing folder inserts, send them home to be completed (with a reminder to print clearly!), and then put the completed forms into your students’ writing folders. Problem solved! There are two versions in the download: full page or half page, in case you use pocket folders.
Happy Teaching!
