Hi, Teaching Friends!
Hooray for the 100th Day! Do you read The Wolf’s Chicken Stew by Keiko Kasza as part of your celebration? It’s a great little book, whether it’s for the Big Day or when you’re teaching about predicting, characters, patterned text… seriously, this is a little gem.
After you read about Uncle Wolfie, here’s a fun activity for your kiddos. They’ll have a blast finding one hundred paper chicks hidden in your classroom, and then reassembling them on the floor as a gigantic hundred chart. I hope you’ll have as much fun with this one as we did!
