that number.
Have them jot it down for further reinforcement.
With each
number given, students tell how many 1’s, 10’s and 100’s there are.
For
more CCSS practice have students compare 2 numbers as >, < .
Ask
them to make the number that is 10 more or 10 less to include addition
and subtraction practice as well.
