Help students with name recognition by making a snowman stacker. Run off the patterns; students trim, draw a face and write a letter on each snowball to make their stacked name.
These look sweet on lockers, or as a hallway-wall border. Have students help you arrange the snowmen in alphabetical order or from tallest to shortest.
They are an excellent segue to graphing how many letters are in students’ names, or how many times a letter was used. For more math extensions, have students add the letter snowballs to find a grand total. Snowman Name Stackers
