There are lots of things you can do with these large letters: Use them as anchor charts, flashcards, Play-doh mats,
or run them off on a variety of colors of construction paper; laminate
and cut them out to make a border, or have them going up a large Chicka Boom tree.
After reading Chicka Boom,
give each child a letter to draw things and write words that start with
that letter, inside the letter. After students share their letter,
collect and collate the pages into a class book.
a fun icebreaker, and interesting way to get to know your new students,
give each child their initial and have them decorate it, or fill in
information about themselves
Packet includes many more ideas including the Kaboom game.
