This “find your name” craftivity, is a simple, quick, and easy worksheet for students to do at the beginning of the year, or during your apple studies.
Use the blank template and write your students’ names inside the apple. Students find and circle their name, and then write it on the bottom. Following the directions, they color the apple. Completed projects make an interesting bulletin board.
I’ve included matching apple
cards for you to use as name tags. Make extra sets. Write your
students’ names on these and run off on red or yellow construction
paper; laminate and trim.
Run another set of cards off on white card
stock. Have students color their apple card and glue their photo to the center; laminate and trim.
Use the apple photo cards along with the apple name cards for Memory Match or “I Have; Who Has?”
games, or put the cards on a split ring and use as flashcards to help
students learn their classmates’ names and how to read them.
