Are you getting ready to celebrate Dr. Seuss’ birthday on Monday, March 2 (also known as Read Across America Day)?
Of course, as an elementary school librarian I LOVE to celebrate the amazing books of Dr. Seuss! I’ve also created a math learning center that’s really fun!
It’s a One Fish, Two Fish Estimation Center, and it’s a free download from Teachers Pay Teachers for you!
When I use this work station, I use 2 tools to help students with their estimate: hundreds charts and a set of ten goldfish.
And I put the Dr. Seuss books on a nearby table for a reading center.
I hope you’ll enjoy this fun, mathematical way to celebrate the wonderful, colorful world of Dr. Seuss! And visit me sometime at my Library Learners blog!
