Bunny Venn Friends are an interesting way to help students get to know each other better, and are a quick, easy and fun way to introduce comparison & contrast writing.
Children pick a partner then make a Venn diagram.
Each child writes their own “different” side and then works together with their partner to make the “same” center.
I’ve included a list of questions students can ask each other for possible inclusion in their diagrams. There’s also a whole-group graphing extension too.
Besides the Bunny Venn Friends, I also designed a tulip one, so you can give your students a choice if you want.
Completed projects make an adorable springtime bulletin board.
