Students will enjoy this Spanish-themed “Taco ’bout” play-on-words writing prompt.
I’ve included an “Ola!” poster to introduce the lesson with a friendly “Hello” in Spanish, then use it as the center for your bulletin board display.
There’s also a writing prompt worksheet: “Taco ’bout” where you or the students decide what you want to “talk about”. Such as, “Taco ’bout a super summer! Boy did I have a wonderful one.” or they could also “Taco ’bout” a great year, classmate, activity etc.
I’ve also included a “Taco ’bout” bookmark
that students can color and keep for themselves, write a note to
another person, or write something about kindergarten being terrific, and
leaving the bookmark for one of your in-coming students.
