Review a variety of Common Core Standards with this sweet raccoon “slider”. I chose a raccoon pattern because my kiddos LOVE the adorable Kissing Hand story by Audrey Penn. They also really enjoy making sliders.
I’ve included “slider” strips for upper & lowercase letters, numbers to 20, shapes, & skip counting by 2s, 3s, 5s, & 10s. Simply choose which standard you want to review, then print & trim.
Sliders are a quick, easy & fun way to whole group assess too.
Children trace the numbers & letters & color the shapes. Teacher
calls for a (letter, number, shape) and children slide the paper strip
up or down ’til it appears in the window. They then hold up their
slider. You can see at a glance who is having difficulty and jot
yourself a note.
