Working with Long Vowel Sounds

All Freebies· PK-2

Dear Teaching Friends,

Long vowels are often a challenge for first graders. There are so many spelling patterns for the same sound … and then there are all of those silent letters thrown in, too! What’s a first grader to do??

Long I Bullseye is a game to help with mastery of the spelling patterns for the long sound of  /i/. The set has 72 word cards, so there are lots of opportunities for practice!

Happy Teaching!
