I always start my year off with teaching my students about place value. Place value is essential to all other math concepts and it is important that the students have an understanding of it. I like to have fun, engaging activities for my students to do.
This is one of their favorites! Duck Dynasty place value concentration.
I print off a few sets and add them to my centers bins.
