Homonyms are words that sound the same, but have different meanings. Homophones are a type of homonym. They are words that sound alike and have different meanings, but are also but are spelled differently, such as “ant” and “aunt”.  

Your students will learn homophones as they cut out the eggs and match them to the correct owl’s nest in this adorable fall freebie.
