I try to included a few nursery rhymes into my monthly themes. Since it’s October, the nursery rhyme, “Peter Peter Pumpkin Eater” is certainly appropriate, so I designed this quick, easy and fun pumpkin craftivity, that’s sure to become a keepsake.
The craft is very versatile, as I’ve included a blank pumpkin, so students can complete a writing prompt on it; there’s also one that says “Happy Halloween from your little pumpkin”, which children can give as a card, plus one with the nursery rhyme on the front, which I revamped.
I was “pinspired” by other crafts with photographs of children inside pumpkins and decided to provide a pattern, so you could do this with your students.
A Peter Peter Pumpkin Eater poster, with the original rhyme is also included.
