One thing I love about teaching primary grade students, is that young children are fascinated by so many things adults take for granted. My favorite science unit of the year is our air and weather unit. The weather, and how it works really is amazing. Young children love observing weather patterns and learning more about it. I created this free air lesson to help students begin to learn about the weather, and how air causes the weather to change. The best thing about this lesson is that the season you teach it does not matter. We always have weather patterns, and they are always changing.
