Let’s Stay Current with Current Events!

All Freebies

I’m always trying to pull the events around the world in front and center to my students so they can see what we are learning “live and in action.”

To help them really take notice beyond the technology in their hands, I created this current event organizer sheet.  Students receive it once a week and they have to find something in the world related to what we are learning!

Keep your students up-to-date with current events while practicing important reading strategies with this free graphic organizer!

I have also used it in the classroom with classroom magazines, such as Time for Kids.  It’s a great tool for practicing those important reading skills and strategies, while still making sure that students are focusing on what’s happening around them.

If you want to check it out and download this free current events organizer, head here for your copy!

Happy Teaching!
