Student council elections are very important to students in the middle grades. Often, students jump into the election for the wrong reasons. I created this free Student Council Elections lesson to help students learn more about how government functions, and their role as leaders. This lesson helps students understand how student council works to represent the needs of their classmates. This lesson helps students understand more about government as a whole, and the importance of their role should they choose to serve.
