Ease Your Students Back to School

Returning back to school after having a couple months off can be overwhelming for some students. Ease them back in to school by incorporating a few low key activities into your first few days. back to school word puzzle Terri's Teaching TreasuresI like to give my students a chance to breath throughout the day but still keep them engaged. One way I do that is by giving them word puzzles that they can do independently or with a partner.

The word puzzles are always a low risk way to get your students engaged and to also assess how they are with reading or solving puzzles.

Here is a FREE word puzzle that I always use on the second day of school. Students have to unscramble school words to find the mystery message!

About Terri's Teaching Treasures

Hi Friends! My name is Terri and I am a full time teacher, mom, and teacher author. I have both my Bachelors of Education and a Masters degree in Educational Leadership. I currently teach grade 3/4 and I love it! I have been teaching for 15 years and have taught everything from 1st to 7th grade and Learning Assistance/Resource. These experiences have given me great exposure to a wide variety of students and learning styles. I use my past experiences and research to create products that have all students in mind. I am a big proponent of differentiated learning and reaching all students at their level.
