Check out these free Fact and Opinion Task Cards! My students love Task Cards! There are so many reasons that I love them, too. First, they allow students to work and learn independently. This gives me a chance to focus in students struggling with a new concept. Once you laminate them, you can use them over and over and not worry about having enough copies of worksheets. Students can work individually, in pairs or in small groups depending on the level of your students.
Task Cards are great for literacy centers, early finishers, the Daily Five, and small group intervention!
You can also place a card on a projector screen for a warm up or morning work.
These Fact and Opinion Task Cards included here are differentiated so students can work on just one card. More advanced students may complete more than one card. There are multiple tasks on each card. These differentiated task cards are larger than normal with 8 questions each.
A “user friendly” method of displaying them is to laminate them, punch a hole in the corner and attach them with a binder ring.
Answer Keys are included for the students to self-check, which gives you more time for intervention!
