Hey teaching friends! I am getting a head start on September as I just realized it is next month already! Does anyone miss summer already too? 🙂
Need something low prep for morning work or centers? I whipped up a fun freebie for you today: September Student Journal Cards!
Simply print on cardstock, cut out, and laminate (which is optional). Use a fun hole punch and grab an o-ring and you are ready for an easy writing center! There are 30 cards, so you can use from year to year, not worrying about which day of the week the 25th comes in on.
Don’t want to print off? Even easier! Pull up the PDF on your computer and display each day on your interactive whiteboard!
Last cute idea? Want to cover up those silver o-rings with a fun design? Use some washi tape and wrap it around. After clipping it, finish off with a little more tape. NOTE: Make sure you want that ring to stay on there. 🙂 It will be super hard to get it off once tape is covering the clasp. If you know it is ok to leave, then tape wrap away. You could even modge podge over it to make it all even and more permanent.
Happy student writing and enjoy the freebie!
