Save Time Grading with Google and Microsoft Forms

All Freebies

In this video I share some tips to save you time when grading students’ work. Create Quizzes, Assignments and Investigations in Google Forms and Microsoft Forms and they will automatically mark them for you!

Google has a feature in Google Forms for teachers to create quizzes directly in Google Forms. You can create a quiz with correct and incorrect answers for questions with multiple choices, checkboxes or drop-down options. This gives students quick feedback with auto-marked questions. Teachers also get useful insight into class performance such as Average, Median and Range.

Similarly, Microsoft recently released Microsoft Forms for Office 365. You can create surveys, quizzes, and polls and easily see results as they come in similar to Google Forms.  You can also invite others to respond to your Form or Quiz using any web browser including mobile devices. As results are submitted, you can use built-in analytics to evaluate responses. Form data, such as quiz results, can be easily exported to Excel for additional analysis or grading.
