I Spy Number Recognition

All Freebies· PK-2

Kids and highlighters, can you think of a better combination to reinforce number recognition? These Number Recognition I Spy printables engage students right from the beginning.
Number Recognition I Spy printablesEach page features one number between one and ten. Students scan the grid, highlighting the featured number each time they find it. My favorite feature of these no-prep printables is that they are completely self-correcting! After your students have highlighted the relevant numbers correctly, the highlighted numbers will form the focus number.
Number Recognition I Spy printablesThis free resource focuses on the numbers 1-10. Each page includes numbers up to 10 more than the focus number. For example, the page focusing on the number 8, will include all numbers up to 18 in the grid. Your students will only be highlighting the number 8 on this page, and when completed, the highlighted numbers will form the number 8.

There are so many different ways these can be used to reinforce and practice number recognition! You could give them to students as a worksheet activity, laminate and use dry-erase markers, give students counters to place over the top of each number, homework, and so much more!
