Are you expecting this little visitor in your classroom this year? I know many teachers, myself included, enjoy having an elf on the shelf in their classroom during the month of December. An elf on the shelf can be so much fun, but it can also be a pain and one more thing to do during an already very busy season! I created this freebie calendar to help your little elf plan out his or her adventures for the school days between Thanksgiving and Christmas! Just simply print the calendar, help your elf think through his or her mischief and jot down an idea for each day. I recommend printing the calendar on this to be sure that it holds up the entire month.
Here are a few of my favorite EASY classroom elf ideas:
- Stuck in the pencil sharpener
- Sleeping in the tissue box
- Playing with stickers
- Cutting a snowflake
- Writing a message on the board
- Playing with magnetic letter
- Reading a book
- In the teacher’s desk drawer
- Building with cubes or another math manipulative
- Coloring a picture

Happy Holidays,
Sarah
