Reading Goes to the Dogs

3-5· 6-8· All Freebies

Howdy friends!  I was farting around in some old files and realized I had this super cute dog clip art set that was just hanging out for a rainy day.

And, as it turns out, it has been raining all day and is supposed to continue into tomorrow – lol!

I have gotten a lot of requests for my Organized Teacher’s Tool Kits in a dog theme, and while I don’t really have time to complete that right now, I figured I would throw together a quick freebie for you to enjoy regardless.

Reading Goes to the Dogs

I created a nightly homework reading log that students can track how many minutes they have read in a month.

As they complete a night, they fill in a blank paw with the minutes.

At the end of the month they can total the amount and win some “purr-fect” reading treats from the teacher!

Have fun planning out your barking good time and enjoy your freebie!

How do you get your students to read at home?  We would love to hear in a comment below – thanks for sharing!
