As a busy teacher, you’re keeping track of a lot. That’s especially true during the back-to-school season. That’s why organizational systems are so important. With that in mind, I’m going to share a set of teacher checklists that will help you keep your classroom organized.
Can you relate to any of these early morning moments of panic?
- Wondering if the copies print before your students arrive
- Forgetting to get the supplies for a science experiment or project
- Staring at a stack of paperwork you forgot to do
Checklists help prevent those hot mess moments!

Using The Editable Teacher Checklists
These editable teacher checklists make organization simple. Editing is easy! You’ll just need to hop on a computer. A desktop or laptop is fine, but no Chromebooks, tablets, or phones because you’ll want to open the file in Adobe Reader.
Once you’ve got opened the editable teacher checklists in Adobe Reader, all you need to do is click on the text boxes and type. The fonts and text sizing are automatic. Everything will adjust for you. Print any of the checklists you want. It really is that easy!
Tip: Laminate checklists, like the lesson planning checklist and classroom lists, that you’ll use over and over. Use a wet or dry erase marker to write on them and use a magic eraser to clean them off.
Using checklists effectively can be a key part of being organized. That’s why they’re a tool every teacher should have.
Get organized and keep rocking your teaching!
