As an early grade teacher, you know that the first day of school is jam-packed with excitement. You also know that dismissal can be chaotic. 🚶🏽🚗🚌🏫
Wouldn’t it be great to be able to look at your students on the first day of school and instantly know their names and how each student is supposed to go home?
With that in mind, I have a new freebie for you. 🎉
How To Use The Free First-Day-Of School Hats:
Not only are these first-day-of-school hats a fun tool to help you learn all your new students’ names, but you can add transportation tags onto the headbands to help make sure all your students go home the right way! These EDITABLE first day of school hats are such a help!
Get hats for 3 grades.
💛 First Grade
Print a hat for each student. While your students are cutting out their hats and coloring their names, you can confirm each child’s transportation plan. Glue the matching image (car, bus, walker, after school, etc.) onto each child’s hat.
You’ll easily be able to direct your students to the correct locations at dismissal just by looking at their first day of school hat!
How To Edit The Hats:
Open the file in Adobe Reader. The free version is fine. (Use a computer. Tablets, phones, & Chromebooks don’t work well for editing PDFs)
Type in your class list and the transportation labels you want to use (bus, car, after school…) A hat will automatically populate for every student in your class! It really is that easy!
