These are my latest set of ESL task cards. There are 30 proofreading task cards. Each card contains one error in the present tense. These provide a little challenge to the students after learning the present tense: identifying what is wrong with each sentence.
Some ways to use these are to give the students all 30 cards at once and have them work individually or with a partner to find all the errors. Another way I use these is to give two at at time as a grammar warm up at the beginning of class.
After proofreading the cards, the students can edit them by providing the correct sentence on the answer sheet. Answer sheets are included for self correcting!
