Poetry is one of my favorite things to teach my students. There are so many different poetry types to explore and student show pride in writing their own.
My poetry unit always has the most students engaged and taking ownership for their learning. Here are 2 of the activities in my unit.
The word search and crossword puzzle are great ways to reinforce vocabulary.
