There are so many sweet pumpkin songs that my Y5s really enjoy.
Pumpkin Pumpkin is one of their favorites.

We make this Popsicle Pumpkin Puppet to use as a manipulative when we chant the poem:

“Pumpkin, pumpkin round and fat, turns into a Jack-o’-lantern just like that!”
