I always look for different ways to practice skills- especially those that are best learned through repetitive practice. Math facts are a great example. I know lots of us try to make games out of flash cards and play Around the World and other games. While those are a great way to engage your students, especially your bodily-kinesthetic learners who need some time to move, students need more practice than that. I often use games during math time to reinforce the current skill, or ones that we need to review. Math facts are constantly thrown in.
I created these Math Wheels as a different sort of game or centers activity. Students work on them independently, but to make it more of a game, you can add a speed or accuracy component. You can get two pages of math wheels for addition, subtraction, multiplication, or division. You can download them here.
