Choosing the Best Word

All Freebies

Do your kids have trouble being specific when they are writing? I try to give them lots of practice choosing the best word for a sentence.
Put this activity in a literacy station for practice. After the students have had a chance to practice, ask them to write their own sentences  using descriptive words.

The same thing happened when I tried. Now wondering what to do, as it looks like another great activity from Mary.
