Use the PEEL acronym for writing a strong paragraph. |
Writing a strong paragraph is important at any grade level. I created this anchor chart to help my students remember what they need to include when writing expository and persuasive pieces. The “PEEL” acronym is nothing new (though I do not know where it originated; I learned it from a former colleague), but it does align nicely with the Common Core State Standards for writing.
