Click on the picture above to receive a free Reading Log to use with your students. Come on over to see what I ask parents to do with the Reading Log in my classroom. Every fall conference time, I tell the parents that those who have faithfully used the Reading Log as a means of making time to sit down and read with their children are the ones who have children that are making great progress with the reading process in our classroom. Children must hear and see what good reading practice looks like. It is imperative to model it for them. This reading log has been a well-loved tool for that by parents in my classroom. They like the accountability it brings to have them take just a few moments to sit and read with their children.
Enjoy!
